Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) rolled oats (gluten-free if preferred)
- 1 apple (any kind) coarsely grated
- 1 3/4 cup(s) plant-based milk (such as oat or soy)
- 1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon(s) raisins
- 2 tablespoon(s) almond butter (or sub any nut or seed butter)
Instructions
- Place the oats, plant-based milk, grated apple, sugar, raisins and cinnamon into a pot over medium heat. Cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring frequently until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Divide the porridge between 2 bowls and top with the almond butter. Top with extra plant-based milk if desired.
